dkstudio was appointed as the Executive Designer to oversee the renovation of this store inside the prestigious La Maison Ogilvy department store. dkstudio designed the temporary store and carefully planned the phasing strategy to ensure a smooth transition to the permanent store. The historical facade received a new face lift with new super clear glass windows and the signature Louis Vuitton flower motif in white Corian finish. Unique to this location, dkstudio planned for a movable wall as part of the interior millwork to allow for the seasonal installation of the famous Christmas Ogilvy window which features animated toys and is a long tradition in Montreal.
