dkstudio principal Karen Mak was the Project Manager for the construction of a new Louis Vuitton store at Oak Brook Center in Oak Brook, Illinois. The scope of work involved construction administration: managing millwork, storefront, and general contractors. The store opened in the fall of 2008, marking the first standalone Louis Vuitton store in Oak Brook. The store area totals 3500 sq. ft. and features a stunning 25 feet store front canopy.
